Osteopathic Manual Therapy
Osteopathy is a science developed in the late 1800’s by Andrew Taylor Stills. He believed the structure of the human body was directly related to how it functioned. By properly aligning bones and increasing mobility in the joints, the body will have an increased tendency to correct and self heal. Balancing the musculoskeletal system and visceral organs directly effects the nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems. Correcting the whole body balances, prevents and corrects various conditions and symptoms. Osteopathy began as manual model of therapy. As medicine in the United States changed, Osteopathy moved toward the medical model. US trained Osteopaths are currently Doctors who can prescribe drugs and diagnose. Osteopathy spread to Europe and Canada were it still remains a non-medical, drugless, hands-on manual therapy.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
A gentle style of Craniosacral Therapy which focuses on various subtle rhythms in the body. These rhythms help direct the body toward health and proper alignment.
Session with Andy Estrella LMT, RCST, CYI
All sessions begin with full structural evaluation to examine the body from a static position, as well as, how the body moves as a whole.
Each joint is evaluated, treated and integrated with the entire structure. Gentle palpation and rhythmic motions are used to increase movement,
and eliminate any patterns of restriction. Session last 25 to 40 minutes. Loose comfortable clothing is preferred (no dresses or tight jeans please).
You will never be put on a waiting list, call for an appointment soon. If money is an issue, contact Andy directly for an alternative pricing plan.
